Karole Marois
Karole Marois, originally from Ottawa Canada, is a figurative painter living on the shore of Lake Ontario in Prince Edward County. A Fine Arts graduate of the Ontario College of Art (now OCAD University), she also holds a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence Italy.
For many years, Karole painted large historical murals for the National Museums and Parks Canada while continuing to exhibit her own personal artwork in galleries and museums nationally. Her paintings can be found in private and public collections in Canada, the US and Europe. Two of her large multi-panel figurative artworks, inspired by an art residency with the Canadian Forces Artist Program in 2005, are now in the collections of the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa and the City Hall of Apeldoorn in the Netherlands.
